Well I know it has been awhile, but nothing too exciting has been happening. I've been working at my running and healing my poor shins. I have continued to stay away from sweets and I have lost a total of 10 pounds since January 1st. I am slowly upping my mileage every week with extra rest days, to make sure that I don't get injured. I am currently up to 1.25 miles for my "long" run on the weekends...I'm trying not to get discouraged that I will need to run 11.85 more miles on October 7th...I know I will get there...Slow and steady wins the race...right?
I don't know how many people read this, but what kind of low carb/high protein meal ideas do you have? I've been pretty much eating the same thing everyday...
Breakfast - English Muffin with peanut butter a glass of milk
Lunch - water, greek yogurt, something leftover from dinner the night before, a piece of fruit
Dinner - meat (chicken, ground beef, fish, turkey...) a carb (my boys and husband like their potatoes and noodles) I only eat a little of the carb and a big helping of veggies.
Snack - not every night, but on some I might have graham crackers with PB, a piece of fruit a small bowl of cereal.
I'm not getting bored with what I'm eating I'm just looking for ideas...mostly for breakfast and lunch...
